a senryu

of mine made it into a journal called Shamrock. because of the journal's format, i am unable to isolate and link up my individual poem. so you can check out the new issue here. there are a lot of really good haiku and senryu in this issue and it is definitely worth checking out. my chicken-scratch is about one-fourth of the way down the scroll bar, nearing the "middle" of the issue...

outside my window

it is raining
piano
keys

the quiet
tinkling
sounds

momentarily
drowning
out

the car crashes

my skull . . .

ice water

is a new poem at a new zine (to me anyways). it is a cool place called dead snakes. ice water is in the vein of my most recent poems, a short steady stream of words falling down the page, no stanzas, no breaks, and it's here....
